Volkswagen has a number of new products lined up for the next few months, which will debut next year at American auto shows. However, the year is not over, and the automaker is readying two new debuts at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show in November, according to Kicking Tires.
Both are being called global debuts by the German automaker, which means they aren’t European cars that we’ve already seen, but completely new vehicles.

The aforementioned source suggests the Golf Cabriolet and the seventh-generation Golf as being likely candidates. However, that sounds a bit too ambitious, especially considering how important the Golf is to the European market, and that the prototype versions we’ve seen on the road don’t seem to be that far along.

A far better fit would be a redesigned Routan people mover that follows the more angular design language that VW is into right now. The facelifted Passat CC is also coming along nicely and might be ready by next month.
