Stellantis is busy making big changes to its American roster. Still, unlike Chrysler (which is left with just one model currently) or Dodge (which retired the Charger sedan and Challenger coupe), Ram Trucks is not too worried about anything in particular.
According to the sales count for 2023, Ram's truck series ranked third in America behind the eternal Ford F-Series and its longtime Chevy Silverado pursuer. The rumor mill amply believes that more good things are coming to the market – including a potential Rampage unibody compact to fight Ford's Maverick and maybe even a Ram Dakota revival that would bring reinforcements to the Jeep Gladiator in its pursuit of Toyota Tacoma's throne.

Also, it's already official that Ram's 1500 series is getting a comprehensive facelift for the 2025 model year, with the company dropping the mighty Hemi V8 from the lineup and retiring the TRX in the process. Instead, they will sell the V6 with eTorque plus two new versions of the 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six turbocharged mill with 420 and 540 horsepower. But that's not all, as the Ram 1500 REV is also coming, and alongside it, there's an all-new Ramcharger with a range extender.

That's quite the roster, and clearly, it's going to be interesting to see how the Chevy Silverado 1500 and Ford's refreshed F-150 fare against these almost completely new foes. Naturally, everyone is also thinking about what's next for Ram, and the rumor mill believes that it's time for the brand to think about refreshing the HD models, as well. Even the imaginative realm of digital car content creators agrees, and they even take one step further by proposing total electrification.

More precisely, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have imagined the CGI looks of the hypothetical upcoming Ram HD REV (Revolution Electric Vehicle) in 3500 HD form. The design isn't all too different from the new styling brought to life by the real world's Ram 1500 REV, as we can easily see in the quick comparison reel that also pits this unofficial EV model against other models currently on the market, like the Cybertruck, for example.

On the other hand, to make it stand out, the channel's resident pixel master not only worked the traditional color reel but also imbued the hypothetical Ram 3500 HD REV pickup truck with a distinctive two-tone atmosphere. Unfortunately, the host didn't say anything about the potential EV powertrain variants, and the CGI expert didn't show us any glimpses of the interior. Also, if you want our two cents on the matter, we firmly believe that a range-extended plug-in RAM HD pickup truck akin to the new 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger has better potential than a full EV.
