Nissan, just like every other Japanese automaker – big or small – is entirely preoccupied with stealing the spotlight at the inaugural edition of the Japan Mobility Show (formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show).
And it has the means to polarize the red carpet – its Hyper concept series is quite something to behold, and it includes the Force (racers and gamers unite), Punk (it's coming back as a trend?!), Tourer (please, no, this MPV doesn't need to exist), plus the Adventure and Urban EV crossovers connecting the dots between all adventures – in and out of town.

But here's the thing. The rumor mill doesn't need these EVs that may never see the light of day beyond Tokyo Big Sight, the Tokyo, Japan-based international exhibition center where the event takes place. And it seems the imaginative realm of digital car content creators follows suit and doesn't want sports cars and crossovers from the Japanese automaker – all they really want is a hulking full-size SUV.

The good folks over at two like-minded YouTube channels - AutomagzTV and PoloTo - have recently shared their visions about the next generation of the legendary Nissan Patrol, and even though AI-assisted designs are not yet perfect, these visions are quite compelling, indeed. First, the resident pixel master from PoloTo, along with the host, imagines the seventh-generation Patrol will take the form of a smooth yet hulking SUV with contemporary design details – such as cool LED DRLs up front and a beyond-full-width LED light strip at the rear.

Even better, they also dream of a potential global version of Australia's Patrol Warrior – riddled with orange lighting accents and a more rugged demeanor. Secondly, the peeps over at AutomagzTV don't mind churning out from the bottom of their CGI pit the next iteration of the Nissan Patrol directly in Warrior form – albeit it still qualifies as a stylish full-size SUV capable of enjoying a night out in town as much as the next day's trail adventure.

Their styling direction – not necessarily at the front – is a lot more exaggerated, though, especially if you check out the hidden glass-like rear pillar or the rectangular treatment of the LED taillights. Anyway, if you like any of these versions, you better take a second look at them – as they're all wishful thinking, and we need to treat these renderings with a grain of salt as nothing is official from Nissan just yet.

On the other hand, they wouldn't look out of place with the Armada nameplate on them for America, either. Anyway, we will probably soon hear from Nissan about the Patrol and Armada (which currently starts from $50,700 in the United States for the 2023 model year) because the two of them are growing a bit long in the tooth – the current Patrol iteration is from 2010 with facelifts in 2014 and 2021 while the second-gen Armada arrived in 2016 at the Chicago Auto Show and also featured a 2021MY refresh.
