Vauxhall Tigra Red Edition... in Silver

As spring has come, summer being only a couple of months away, global warming at its finest, you may need a drop top to get around. Vauxhall is already on it, as they have just released a special edition of their Tigra model. Although this special edition is painted in silver (at least in the presentation pictures), they call it Tigra Exclusiv Red Edition, offering extras worth of up to GBP 1,350 for no apparent additional cost.

The Tigra Exclusiv Red edition is based on the Sport model, but comes with a modified interior, and some extras on the exterior. The most noticeable change brought to the exterior is the scarlet leather on the seats and the door trims. The wheel is also covered in leather (not scarlet, but black for a powerful contrast), and there are some alloy inserts on the center console and the gear knob.

Another funny thing is that you can't get the Tigra Exclusiv Red Edition in red, only three colors being available - Metro Blue, Star Silver and Black Sapphire. Probably, they couldn't fit 26 inch rims on the Tigra so you'll have to settle for 17 inch alloy rims.

If the weather is nice and you want to feel the wind in your hair, you will need to spare 20 seconds of your life to get the top down. On the other hand, if things start to heat up, air conditioning is available as standard to keep things cool.

The price of this special edition starts from GBP 15,515, and you have two engines to choose from -  a 1.4 liter one and a 1.8 liter one.
