We have seen cars being flipped by a variety of ramp-like obstacles, yet we weren’t expecting the trailer of an 18-wheeler to serve this purpose quite so well. In the video above, an unweary Russian driver strays into the adjacent lane, which sadly for him was not empty.
The car hits the rear-left side of the 18-wheeler’s trailer, and immediately gets flipped onto its roof, while still traveling at highway speeds. We honestly would have preferred to see this accident from behind, as perhaps it would have shed more light on how it happened, yet we must make do with what we`ve got.
Also, even after it is flipped onto its roof, the car still takes a fair distance, before grinding to a halt - literally. This is by far the worst-case scenario for this situation, and while it clearly happened due to driver error, its conclusion was highly unexpected.
