Of all the obstacles you`d expect to find scattered on a stretch of highway, a boat, just lying around is the last thing you expect to com across. However, in Russia, this seems to be a possibility.
After the boat which can overtake cars, we now have a boat just lying in the middle of the road. No reason for to be there, nobody was expecting to see it, and of course the driver hits it full-on, probably causing some extensive damage to the car - these are highway speeds we are talking about.
Furthermore, if someone had lost a boat on the highway, it is simply incomprehensible that they would not stop immediately and get it off the road, so as not to put the lives of others in danger. Also, when carrying large items (like boats), they should always be fastened down more than you think is necessary - overkill is good, in this situation, at least.
