One of the most elegant, sophisticated gooseneck tiny homes ever built comes from Canada, embodying the ultimate West Coast lifestyle. This custom creation is not only spacious and superbly equipped, but its timeless style is worthy of the most luxurious beach homes.
As the sun sets, you're enjoying a perfect evening in your cozy living room – big, plush armchairs in front of a modern fireplace, a coffee table for snacks and drinks, and large windows on each side so that you can fully take in the views. The elevated position gives you an even better perspective.

You can spend an afternoon or a quiet evening with your loved one in this sanctuary for relaxation in the comfort of your own home – a home that isn't an expensive house on the beach but better. This is the Pacific Retreat, a surprisingly lavish house on wheels.

It's hard to believe that the vision of the perfect living room belongs in a tiny house. Yet, this isn't the only surprise that the Pacific Retreat has to offer. Taking advantage of its gooseneck structure, this dwelling comes with the best qualities – a comfy loft bedroom, a full-size kitchen, and a classic bathroom.

The custom version pictured in the gallery displays a wonderful elevated living room, but this can also be configured as a second bedroom if additional accommodation is required. This Canadian design boasts generous dimensions – a 34-foot (10.3 meters) length and a total square footage of 352 square feet (32.7 square meters), the prerequisite for an ideal layout. Perfect for two to four people, the Pacific Retreat is as relaxing and comfortable as its name suggests.

This custom build stands out in any environment. Its vibrant exterior shows off a two-tone design with rich texture and a bold color contrast. You'll notice the 30-inch (76 cm) glass entry door and the multiple windows of various sizes. When you step inside, you'll be pleasantly surprised to discover a tiny foyer. It offers storage for clothes, personal items, and even a separate area for your pet, all neatly tucked away under a staircase.

This is just one of the custom staircases inside the beautiful Pacific Retreat, leading to the elevated living room. The other one is an impressive display of craftsmanship – it integrates ample pull-out storage and a large compartment for a washer/dryer unit. In combination with the natural wood shades, varying from the light floors to the dark accents, such as the staircase steps, the vibrant blue furniture creates the dreamy vibe of a coastal design.

Unlike other tiny homes, the Pacific Retreat pays special attention to each area of the home, no exception. The classic open-concept layout includes sufficient space for each room while remaining airy and luminous. You'd expect a house with two separate staircases and full-size rooms to feel crowded, yet it doesn't. The ingenious design allows the Pacific Retreat to maximize spaciousness and boast a relaxed, uncluttered style at the same time.

The main staircase matches the impressive full-size kitchen. Another custom creation, the kitchen includes a four-burner cooktop with a special compartment for the microwave convection oven.

The large fridge and the hood fan are also included as standard features, together with the stainless steel sink, butcher block-style countertop, and elegant backsplash. Multiple cabinets and drawers offer optimal storage, while the large pull-out pantry is also perfectly integrated into the staircase, just like the fridge and the washer/dryer unit.

Extra length means there's no need for the kitchen countertop to double as a breakfast bar. The Pacific Retreat includes a tiny but very practical dining nook. It only boasts a small round table and a couple of seats, but it's enough for enjoying family meals. It's all about the right placement – this dining setup sits in front of a large window, close to the kitchen counter, and far enough from other rooms so that it doesn't get in the way.

The bathroom is just as luxurious as the rest of the house. Top-notch amenities, including an eco-friendly composting toilet and a full-size shower, are wrapped in a classic bright-white style – the perfect complement to the home's coastal design.

Pacific Retreat's bedroom isn't big enough for a king-size bed, but this doesn't make it any less sumptuous. A queen-size mattress leaves sufficient walk-around space, with room for two adorable nightstands. The windows on each side are essential for cross-ventilation and natural lighting.

It's no wonder that the custom Pacific Retreat was "a delight to build" for the team at Sunshine Tiny Homes. It continues to be one of the brand's most spectacular builds, with the perfect combination of style and function. The elevated living room with built-in shelves and a gas fireplace is the special touch that makes this home on wheels truly memorable.

Although built as a residential home, this custom version would also make a fabulous vacation rental with the perfect beach vibe. Pricing for the standard Pacific Retreat starts at CAD 149,000 ($110,000).
