The Aussie-designed Retreat 9500 is absolutely worthy of its name. This isn't your ordinary tiny house but a sumptuous haven on wheels that blurs the lines between the indoors and the outdoors without sacrificing modern comfort. In fact, it elevates it to the most luxurious levels.
Single-level tiny homes are a lot of people's favorite options when it comes to comfort. With the living, kitchen, and sleeping areas all on one level, these types of homes ensure daily comfort for all age groups and all living situations.

A house like the Retreat can make the most of this particular configuration due to its generous proportions. With a 9.5-meter (31 feet) length and 3-meter (9.8 feet) width, this home maximizes space for each room and ensures lavish accommodation for two to four people.

Primarily targeted at the vacation rental market, the Retreat has all the hallmarks of a luxury resort. It creates a deep communion with nature by turning into an indoor/outdoor space. First, the oversized windows and doors add transparency to an otherwise classic cabin-like structure with lots of wood. The spectacular views seem to bring the outdoors in truly, not just in one area of the house, but everywhere.

Another key element for creating this indoor/outdoor flow is the addition of generous exterior decks seamlessly connected to the rest of the house. A huge bathtub sits inside and outside at the same time, thanks to the open-space layout directly connected to the exterior. A luxurious addition for any home on wheels, this bathtub fits perfectly within the overall concept of the Retreat. It's surrounded by great views and placed in an area that's bathed in natural light – what better way to relax in the middle of nature?

The covered deck or outdoor extension of the house can also be configured as a special lounge. Instead of the classic barbecue, it boasts a more sophisticated setup with a snack bar in front of the oversized window and additional outdoor furniture. The clever design creates the illusion of an uninterrupted flow between the living room and this outdoor lounge, making the entire area feel incredibly spacious and fully open to the natural surroundings.

Inside, a modern fireplace keeps the atmosphere cozy at all times so that the owners can enjoy this special connection to nature in any weather conditions without feeling any less comfortable. The kitchen and the living area are part of the same open-plan area, with no clear separation. This is a compact kitchen – the kind you'd typically find in vacation rentals. It's not the ideal choice for a family, although it does come with the basics.

Since it's all about a vacation vibe and less about functionality, the Retreat isn't big on storage. Most of it is available in the open-space area in the form of kitchen cabinets, overhead cabinets, and a sofa with built-in drawers. This sofa is part of a cozy nook, perfect for private relaxation, with the warm and friendly décor of a traditional living room.

The cozy nook takes advantage of the wooden wall separating the bedroom from the rest of the house. As you'd expect with such a luxurious design, the bedroom is both elegant and highly comfortable. In addition to the large bed, it comes with a full-size closet, a corner shelf, and ample walk-around space.

The oversized window in front of the bed ensures spectacular views throughout the day, creating the same indoor-outdoor flow as the rest of the house. At the same time, this is a private space inside the home – good rest is almost guaranteed.

Sliding doors separate the bedroom from the bathroom. The outdoor bathtub is just a luxurious perk, but it doesn't mean that the home's bathroom isn’t fully equipped. The brass-colored fixtures create a striking contrast to the dark walls and furniture, resulting in a glamorous industrial décor highlighting the Retreat's luxurious spirit.

The same contrast can be found throughout the house, with black furniture and accents adding vibrancy to the natural wood and neutral-tone color palette. The Retreat looks remarkably sophisticated despite sitting in the middle of nature. Far from a rustic cabin, this is the modern version of a luxury retreat – full comfort, premium amenities, and finishes, and an almost intimate connection to the outdoors.

The Retreat 9500 is one of the largest and most luxurious designs offered by Alphaline Tiny Homes. It embodies the Aussie design trend with lots of oversized windows and goes even further with a sophisticated, contemporary layout where there seems to be no separation between the inside and the outside.

Ultra-spacious and flexible, this single-level house on wheels is ideal for the popular concept of glamping but can also become a fabulous sustainable home for those who want to live in communion with nature without giving up their modern lifestyle.
