In factory stock form, the Mk IV Volkswagen Golf R32 is a bit like the Lexus LFA - the engineering masterpiece aura shines strong and yet the performance isn't at the top of the genre anymore.
Nevertheless, a group of aficionados from Kosovo has decided to reinvent one of these V6-motivated hot hatches by going for a mind-blowing engine swap. The hatch has been gifted with a twin-turbo V10 and while the new heart doesn't fully fit in the engine compartment, a cutout in the hood solved the issue.
The donor car was a C6-generation Audi RS6, but don't expect the twin-turbo 5.0-liter V10 to have been left untouched. Oh no. The mill has been gifted with serious mods, such as a custom turbo setup. With the exhaust pipes protruding though the hood as if this was a drift car, this machine offers its driver the honor of knowing when exhaust fumes are temporarily replaced with flames. We're not aware of the new specs, but we can tell you this much - we're dealing with an engine than can effortlessly be taken north of the 1,000 hp border.
The velocity-obsessed crew over at Speedhunters Albania have brought us some delicious footage of the... GolV, as we've decided to call this octane behemoth.
As you can imagine, the twin-turbo V10 Golf R32 slays true to its name (no typo here). While the car is currently in its shakedown phase, so we can't see it drag racing, it's not difficult to estimate the kind of performance it can deliver.
The first piece of footage bellow gives us an in-car perspective on the sprinting feeling, fueling the street demon inside many drivers, as the hooning takes place on the road.
As for the second clip, this shows us a dyno run of the Vee-Dub, with the soundtrack being nothing short of sinister. Then again, as we mentioned in the title, you can probably use the adjective for just about any asset of this explosive family affair.
