Did you know that Toyota has the Auris Hybrid in Europe? We did, but we don’t really like it very much, and neither do the customers. This, however, is a totally different story. It’s called the Yaris Hybrid, and we think it will be a big hit because it uses a completely new car and the look is not gimmicky like the big Prius.
Today, Toyota UK gave us an insight into just how good the car might be, as the say it will only put out 79 g/km of CO2, while doing 80.7 mpg on the British cycle. And it will do that for a price tag below £15,000.

Of course, it doesn’t surprise us that it’s going to be the most affordable hybrid on sale in the UK, because the Prius C is also the most affordable hybrid in America. The car has got 100 PS on tap, so it’s not going to be slow, plus it will be exempt from London congestion charges.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
