Ferrari is going to reveal their new GT car to replace the 599 GTB Fiorano. In typical Maranello fashion, the ‘base’ car will probably be a lot more impressive than the GTO. This is partly due to the car’s new aluminum chassis that will cut a bit of weight off, and partly due to the new 700+ horsepower 6.3-liter engine.
The full reveal of the car will take place on February 29th, but we can take a sneak peak at what’s under the covers with the help of a rendering from Wild Speed, based on what Ferrari has teased so far. The headlights are elongated, much like the 458 Italia, and the rest of the body is very modern in appearance.
Ferrari probably still has pages and pages of stats to impress us with, so we’re still eager to see the real thing.
