After celebrating its 1 millionth truck rolled out of the assembly line last month, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas came to another milestone - celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Toyota broke ground at its new plant site on 17 October 2003, evolving from a simple assembly plant into an automotive production site, handling the manufacturing process for the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma.

And what is the best way to celebrate such a milestone than by giving away 10 brand new trucks which went to 10 San Antonio organizations.

“Toyota Texas is committed to deepening our roots in our neighborhood here on the South Side,” said Toyota Texas President Chris Nielsen. “We want to thank San Antonio, its citizens and community partners for their unwavering support during the past decade.”

Bellow you can see the organizations that benefited from Toyota’s truck gift:
  • Christian Senior Services Meals on Wheels
  • Floresville Independent School District
  • Habitat For Humanity of San Antonio
  • Northside Independent School District
  • San Antonio College, Challenger Center
  • San Antonio Fire Department
  • San Antonio River Foundation
  • Somerset Independent School District
