Toyota USA further continues with the range cleanup. After learning that the Matrix hatch will be discontinued for next year, we find out there is another model going down.
Actually, not a whole model, but a specific trim level - the Toyota Tacoma X-Runner - will be dropped for 2014.

The limited production X-Runner trim was adding a tweaked suspension, hood scoop, a sporty body kit, stiffer chassis and unique rims wrapped in sport tires.

Its name comes from a rear-mounted X-brace that stiffens up the rear end. The model was only available in three colors per year: 2005-2008 was offered in Speedway Blue, Radiant Red and Black Sand Pearl, while in 2009 Radiant Red was replaced with Barcelona Red Metallic. Also, in 2012, Speedway Blue was replaced with Nautical Blue Metallic.
