The last visual update performed on the US best-seller Camry sedan took place in 2011, so Toyota is now considering a significant change for it in order to keep it on first place for the 13th year.
“There were some who wanted to write Camry off this year, and it didn’t happen,” Toyota group vice president Bill Fay said yesterday in an interview at the Los Angeles Auto Show. “We’ll make some effort through the collective team to keep it No. 1 next year.”

Fay declined to tell more about the changes the company will make to the Camry model, but he ensured that they will pay “significant attention” to it next year.

The dependable Toyota Camry is currently offered in six different flavors, from the basic L at $22,235 to the Hybrid XLE top model costing $27,670 and coming with enough features to satisfy a wide range of customers.
