With all the hype created around the 600 horsepower Nissan GT-R Nismo, we kind of forgot all about the other Nismo cars they've been launching since the beginning of the year. This one is the March Nismo, and it's only available in Japan.
On display at the Tokyo Motor Show, the hot supermini shows it has character, but not much else. The motorsports-themed version of the Japanese Micra gets an aggressive body kit, larger 16-inch alloy wheels with 205/45R16 tires and a lowered suspension. The coolest part is the paintjob, a combination of pearl white, black and contrasting red. Upgrades also include sports seats, a sports steering wheel and red accents throughout. The seats are surprisingly well bolstered and smack bang in front of you, Nissan places a new speedo that goes all the way up to 220 km/h.

Nissan didn't, however, fit a proper hot hatch engine. The engine available in Japan is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated unit with 116 PS and 156 Nm (115 lb-ft) of torque. There's also a March Nismo S model with a 1.2-liter engien which comes with Xtronic CVT.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
