One of the concepts brought by Nissan to this year’s edition of the Tokyo Motor Show is the Nissan Townpod, a vehicle that debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and is now meeting the Japanese public.
The concept is presented as a casual piece of machinery that is aimed at catering to the needs of modern world entrepreneurs. Thus, the vehicle comes with a highly customizable cabin, so every user can configure it to suit his personal needs.

The Townpod borrows the Nissan Leaf’s zero-emission drivetrain, but the company says that :The car does not need to shout that it is an EV. It more subtly suggests its ecological and economical credentials.”

The concept is dressed in Stratosphere White and comes with innovative elements such as the design of the rear lights, as well as a hatch-like sunroof that allows the car to transport larger objects.
