BMWs and Japanese cars are the ones that draw the crowd during most drifting events. Usually the competition during the runs is really tight and the shows keep on getting better and better each year. Today we get to take a look at how a drift run looks, from inside the cabin.
The car featured in this video is an E36 3 Series. We don't know much more about the car, or its specs. All we know is that it was completely stripped down, leaving only the seats, roll cage, steering wheel and gearshift intact. There's also a turbo involved somewhere around the engine bay, which guarantees there will be a lot of smoke coming out of the rear tires.
The video shows us a qualifying run for the 3rd edition of the Lone Start Drifting Series held in Gulf Greyhound Park, La Marque, Texas. The run seems pretty brutal but, as the video description says, the E36 only managed to secure the 9th place.
