This Motorcycle Rider Was Supposed to Meet Joe Black, But He Had Other Plans

It's situations like these that gave the writer of the "Final Destination" movie the idea for the script. By all accounts, this man should now be dead, and yet he emerged from the claws of death unharmed. His bribe to the one upstairs must be renewed, because this incident clearly involved some divine intervention.
You don't frequently hear the advice to "close your eyes and keep going straight ahead" when speaking of traffic-related events, but it looks as though it was the best course of action for this lucky, lucky bastard. Actually, we should probably use the plural here, as he seems to be having a passenger with him on the bike.

We all know that riding a motorcycle is a dangerous business - otherwise, everybody would be doing it. It's more fun, it's faster, it's easier to park and... it's more fun, so why would we choose the confines of a car when we could be enjoying the freedom of a bike if not for the safety concerns? Well, next time somebody tells you that "biker" is just another word for "organ donor," just show him this clip and ask him how did the fact it had four wheels and a metal body help the guys in the white SUV?

Seriously now, this clip is anything but a pro-riding video material. If you feel it doesn't look scary enough at first, it's because it's so hard to keep track of what happens at full speed. Just wait for the slow-motion part and you'll come to realize that it was all bout inches and tenths of a second. Had a butterfly flapped its wings one second sooner somewhere in Papua New Guinee, and the fate of these two would have been a lot different.

Watch closely and you'll see that the sedan coming the other way is actually pushed back by the collision with the white SUV (thank you, Newton's third law), making room for the bike to go through as if it was all part of a carefully orchestrated stunt.
