With the growing popularity of tiny living, we've seen a surge in home design creativity to overcome the challenges of limited space. Just like jewel boxes, when you open the door to a tiny home, you anticipate finding something beautiful and unique inside. In these compact dwellings, simplicity meets elegance and every square foot serves a purpose, as there is no room for things that are just there to take up space.
The Clair tiny house model takes the idea of living simply and with fewer possessions to a luxurious new level with an incredibly open and thoughtful layout, quality materials, and beautiful furnishings and finishes.

This elegant micro-home was crafted by Havenn Tiny Homes, an Australian builder based in Melbourne, Victoria, that was founded in 2021. It's a relatively new player in the tiny house market and only has a handful of models in its lineup. Nonetheless, each of their models is elegantly designed and highly functional, challenging traditional perceptions of small-space living and ensuring that reducing your living space doesn't mean losing out on comfort or style.

Through its creations, Havenn aims to prove that tiny houses are "not just a place to live but a pathway to a more sustainable, financially liberating, and aesthetically pleasing lifestyle." To that end, the builder uses materials that are good for the environment, renewable energy, rainwater collection systems, composting toilets, and more to allow for a truly eco-friendly way of living.

The Clair tiny home is proof that you can live a simpler yet more fulfilled and more sustainable life in a diminutive dwelling. It measures 28 feet (8.5 meters) in length, 8.2 feet (2.5 meters) in width, and 14.1 feet (4.3 meters) in height and boasts a design that prioritizes versatile functionality to ensure it can cater to diverse needs and lifestyles.

Built on a Duragal steel tri-axle trailer, this compact house boasts a modern, industrial aesthetic from the outside due to the dark steel siding and roof, with some timber accents softening up the look.

The modern, open-design interior layout with a spacious living room, an impressive kitchen, and a sleeping loft makes it ideal for couples and small families, as it can sleep up to four individuals in a queen loft and ground-level queen daybed.

The interior feels cozy and comfortable while also exuding luxury and class through an eclectic combination of quality materials, soft textures, and neutral colors. From the moment you step inside, you can't help but notice that every detail has been meticulously curated, from the exquisite furniture pieces to the kitchen fixtures and decor items, to create a refined and inviting atmosphere. The sleek lines, functional layout, and simple color palette dominated by neutral tones contribute to creating a clutter-free ambiance.

What's more, the design is focused on practicality, with all the amenities one needs to live comfortably and sustainably. As you enter, you are greeted by a luminous lounge and dining area that invite conviviality. A cozy daybed with integrated storage is strategically placed next to an oversized window to allow those inside to take in the surrounding views, while the double glass doors ensure a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, which is a staple of Aussie tiny homes.

Next to the daybed, a dining table set for two creates the perfect setting for tranquil, romantic dinners, but there seems to be enough space for a larger table if you want to host family dinners.

The adjacent kitchen is all about functionality and style, with a timeless black-and-white aesthetic, a large pass-through window, and modern appliances. Sleek, high-gloss cabinets combine beautifully with white subway tiles, brass hardware, and the black-framed bi-fold window to enhance the classic elegance of this cooking space. In terms of functionality, it is well kitted out with a full-size fridge, a two-burner cooktop, an oven, a range hood, a dishwasher, and a deep sink. The washer/dryer combo is also located in the kitchen area.

Opposite the kitchen counters, a sleek staircase leads up to the cozy sleeping loft. With its high vaulted ceiling, a black accent wall, and large windows that invite plenty of natural light in, it evokes a sense of tranquility. The space is roomy enough to fit a queen-size bed and a couple of nightstands and offers beautiful views of the downstairs as it's completely open, with just a simple railing for protection.

Clair also benefits from a nice bathroom space that is surprisingly modern and elegant. It's compact but cleverly designed to include a walk-in shower cabin, a stylish wall-mounted vanity with a circular sink basin and large oval mirror, and a toilet. It is completely private, hiding behind a sliding barn door, and the all-white design gives it a pristine look.

Sneaky storage solutions can be found in key areas of this tiny home, increasing its functionality, including built-in storage under the lounge daybed, storage stairs, and plenty of cabinetry in the kitchen.

Designed for the minimalist who doesn't want to compromise on luxury and comfort, the Clair tiny home is a masterpiece of style and functionality. It costs AUD $119,000 (approx. USD $79,350), and its versatility makes it perfect for various uses, from a permanent abode to a cozy vacation retreat to a chic Airbnb rental.
