Mt. Gabriella is one of those rare tiny homes that exude the warm, intimate atmosphere of a traditional home, inside and out, balanced by a low overall footprint, freedom of movement, and affordable pricing.
It's hard to say which Tiny Mountain Houses design is the best – they're all carefully crafted to meet specific needs and accommodate a wide range of lifestyles. Mt. Gabriella is part of the brand's Cottage Series and is also one of the most compact models offered by this builder. The 26-foot (7.9 meters) length translates to a very low footprint, which is convenient for most folks. At the same time, this traditional-looking home on wheels is spacious enough and equipped to sleep up to eight people and ensure comfortable living year-round.

Mt. Gabriella's minimal length is paired with a width a little above nine feet (2.8 meters) and a 9.4 feet interior height. With a total floor space of less than 300 square feet (278 square feet/25.8 square meters), this compact tiny has just enough room for a classic single-level layout that includes a separate bedroom and a versatile lounge/dining area in addition to the kitchen.

One of the main qualities of the homes built by Tiny Mountain Houses is they feel like home right from the start. Forget industrial-style, ultra-modern abodes that might seem cold and unwelcoming. Mobile homes like Mt. Gabriella welcome guests to a homely, peaceful, and warm ambiance resulting from the smart design and carefully added décor.

The moment you step inside Mt. Gabriella, you enter its cozy yet flexible lounge space. The big, elegant sofa can be converted to a bed when needed. It's strategically placed between windows and in front of a wall-mounted TV for maximum comfort. The wooden snack bar is an intriguing and very useful item. This built-in bar is both a snack bar and a work desk with ample seating, also cleverly placed in front of a window. It turns the area into a versatile space that can be adapted for lounging, dining, entertaining guests, or working from home without major modifications.

The transition into the kitchen area is seamless, without obstructing the easy movement flow throughout the house. That is why pocket doors were also used instead of conventional ones. As compact as it is, this kitchen is remarkable in terms of appliances and storage.

There are no tiny shelves and minimalist wooden slates – this tiny kitchen rocks massive wooden cupboards overhead and beneath the countertop, which could easily rival those in a traditional house. Quality wasn't spared when it came to the appliances, which include a full-size stainless steel refrigerator, a two-burner electric cooktop, and a large vented rangehood.

The same goes for the bathroom, which reveals a residential toilet and a generous 36-inch shower. The delicate sink with a classic cabinet adds a nostalgic touch. As for the main bedroom, it offers all the benefits of a traditional, main-floor master bedroom, including big windows that bathe it in natural light while enhancing the views.

Mt Gabriella feels like a classic home inside and out. Its exterior was built with a residential 40-year hardboard siding and a standing-seam, metal 40-year roof for extra durability. The windows are a key component – they're particularly tall (58 inches), glazed with residential glass, and upgraded for the best level of energy efficiency. There are also quite a few of them, which results in high luminosity throughout the home and great views no matter where you're standing.

Those who want to enhance Mt. Gabriella's exterior appeal even further have the option to add a wonderful porch. A covered porch with custom railing and a full lighting package (including a ceiling fan) would be the final touch that turned this tiny house into a real home – an excellent way to enjoy the outdoors the old-fashioned way without compromising the compact footprint and mobility.

Last but not least, traditional residential comfort is also linked to high-quality, reliable equipment. Even the most attractive home would not mean a thing if it weren't properly prepared for all-year weather. Mt. Gabriella doesn't disappoint. In addition to the flawless insulation, adapted for the ceiling, walls, and flooring, it comes with an on-demand tankless, propane water heater and a standard convection electric wall heater with a thermostat, to which customers can add a ductless heating/cooling system.

Looking at it from the outside, Mt. Gabriella seems to be a miniature classic home, especially with the addition of that lovely porch. Exploring its interior will only confirm that first impression, proving that even a tiny house on wheels that is perfectly equipped for modern living can delight its dwellers with the nostalgic, warm ambiance of a classic-style home. And the best part is that pricing starts at less than $60,000, with multiple customizations available, so that anyone can turn Mt Gabriella into their dream home.
