What can we say about a Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale at the drag strip except: Had to be done!
In case the Huracan wiped out any memory of the Gallardo models, we'll refresh it by telling you the Trofeo Stradale is an ultra-limited edition with 150 units being made using wisdom gathered from Lamborghini's racing series. It's also the model that marked the end of Gallardo production back in 2013.

Besides the fantastic noises, the V10 engine also makes 570 hp, so it's certainly fast once the revs start building. You can think of it as the pinnacle of aggression for a supercar which was been in production for 10 years. Obviously, the 11.2 second quarter mile run at 126 miles per hour is not the fastest we've seen, but it's also not disappointing in the least bit.

If we're to be all-American about the Italian supercar, the guys at Dragtimes have dynoed this exact model at 508 hp at the wheels, with torque figures measuring 361 lb-ft.

This isn't the first time the Super Trofeo robbed Florida's Palm Beach drag strip of some precious seconds. We have another video for you to check out, in which the ultimate Gallardo takes on a Porsche 911 Turbo.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
