The 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, or Auto China 2024, is one of the great spring-style automotive shows – it's light on the eyes and heavy on novelties and performance.
Many of the introductions have to do with the local market, indeed, but there are some outstanding exceptions, like the electric G Class and AMG GT 63 S E Performance or the smart Concept #5 and Lamborghini Urus SE. Obviously, opposites often attract, like we did when juxtaposing the little smart prototype against the new plug-in hybrid king of the ultra-luxury super-SUV arena.

Anyway, if we are talking about Lamborghini, we have to say that all this international turmoil and the feeling that the entire world is about to crumble down on top of our heads because of too much hatred and wars is like cloud number nine for the one-percenters. As such, the Sant'Agata Bolognese marque is not doing all right or even well – they're outstanding, with production sold through 2025 on many of its models.

As such, with the all-new Revuelto V12-powered PHEV now out and about, the sold-out Huracan production and its successor (allegedly called Temerario) on its merry V8 PHEV way, as well as the Lambo Urus S, Urus Performante, and now also the Urus SE ready for prime-time, you could think that the exotic Italian brand has its hands full, right?

Well, that may be valid in the real world, but across the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, it's still nowhere its limit. As such, it is no wonder that new ideas are pouring in on a regular basis. Most recently, the good folks over at car.design.trends have focused our attention on a hypothetical proposal for a new Lamborghini four-seater that dwells across fantasy land. And it comes from a professional, by the way.

Hosan Song is a Senior Exterior Designer at the Renault Group in Paris, but he also has a personal side gig nicknamed hosan_design on social media, and that's where he cooks stuff like a very tiny and lovable MINI, retro-futuristic concepts, or this Lamborghini design project. While it's a four-seater, unlike the Huracan and Revuelto, it's also smaller than both and could easily rival the Ferrari GTC4Lusso if the three-door grand tourer was still around.

So, do you like it enough to give it our CGI hall pass? Also, if real, do you think it could work as a new entry-level model from Lambo that could provide people with access to something cool but a little more practical than a Huracan or its successor or Revuelto, and also not as massive as an Urus? If so, what powertrain do you think it could use – should Lambo equip it with a detuned V8 hybrid assembly taken from the alleged Temerario or something entirely new?
