The Force clearly will be with the happy bidder of this classic Vette, and that is because there’s more to it than just the regular wrap. You see, this particular Chevy was airbrushed in the late 1970s with the Star Wars theme. It’s an award-winning classic a man has spent countless hours to finish back in the day. After he had died, his daughter stored it in her garage for years and later sold it to another George Lucas fan.
The eBay user who recently sold it once again claims he bought it from an older man who’d be driving it on a daily basis with great proud. “He told me every time he took it out people would ask him if it was for sale,” the seller explained in his ad. Looking at the pictures below you’ll find the Vette really is a head turner. Nevertheless, let’s get back to the person who designed it in the first place.

The creator of this Star Wars themed vehicle is Rusty Fecek. Apparently, he spent 1000 hours creating it. Every body panel was hand airbrushed freestyle using candy apples, pearl, purples, silvers, reds, blue and many more coats of hand rubbed lacquer.

The front and rear bumper covers were replaced in the past few years due to the plastic aging and falling apart, but other than that the vehicle looks to be in shape. In fact, the original owner took it to many shows and events, also winning some awards.

On the inside, there’s a carpeted dash while the door panels were replaced at the same time as the bumper covers. There are some flaws, though, that explain the rather low price it sold for. According to the ad, the car runs and drives with a slight exhaust leak, which means it could use a tune up.
