The majority of barn finds come down to abandoned cars that are full of rust, mold, and dust, but this really isn’t the case of this ’69 Dodge Dart Swinger.
Found some two years ago in a barn in Attica, NY, the Dodge has zero rust, and the owner says it’s all because it was stored in nearly perfect conditions.

“Being in dry storage, there is no rust and looks laser straight,” they explain in sale ad published on Craigslist. “It was intended to be a drag car, but never reached that goal. Thankfully it was never hacked up.

This Dart Swinger was last driven in 1981, the seller explains, but it’s ready to become your daily driver without the need for any other fix.

The engine, for example, which is a 340ci (5.6-liter) 4-BBL and has an output of 275 horsepower, has already been rebuilt using only original components. The owner claims they still have the original numbers, as well as a series of other parts, like the stock bore, the carburetor, the radiator, and the fender tag.

The engine and the transmission have both been checked and they’re ready to power the Dodge as a daily driver for whoever is willing to pay $29,500 for it.

A local machine shop recently boiled and magnafluxed the block to ensure it is 100%. The engine is fresh and runs awesome. Both the trans and rear end were professionally checked out and given a green light!” the ad reads.

The interior is in what the seller describes in an unbelievable condition, especially when taking into account this is a 51-year-old car. It has 97,892 miles (157,541 kilometers) on the clock, but the owner guarantees it’s been drive for only 12 years after which it was just stored in a barn before being found in 2018.
