In most cases, barn finds actually come down to abandoned cars that are full of rust, mold, vegetation, and things like that, but this certainly isn’t the case with this ’66 Nova Super Sport.
Also listed as a “barn find,” this Nova has no idea what rust is, or at least, that’s what the owner that’s now selling the car claims in a listing on Craigslist.

More specifically, the owner says the car has been parked and stored in good conditions since 1983, and there is “no rust through anywhere on car.” In other words, all it needs is a repaint and the Nova should look almost as new, especially given the original Marina blue paint is still there.

But unfortunately, this isn’t the case of the interior, which is in terrible condition, as you can see in the photos in the gallery. The owner explains that the interior, despite being original, is in “poor condition,” as things like the front seat covers, the door panels, and the carpeting need to be completely replaced.

The good news is that the car is powered by a 327ci (5.36-liter) V8 engine that develops 350 horsepower, according to the Craigslist ad, and it’s paired with a Muncie 4-speed transmission. Some other improvements are also being offered, including a new brake system.

Original Marina blue paint with a vintage ‘electric shade’ detail overpaint. Cragar wheels with with new BF Goodrich tires. Snakepit dual exhaust system. Original traction bars. New weather seal on windows, doors and trunk. New rubber in engine compartment. New Edelbrock carburetor, new alternator, new ignition. Brake system rebuilt. Runs well,” the owner claims.

This Nova doesn’t really come cheap, but at $28,000, it could be a good deal for anyone who wants the car with the original interior. On the other hand, the seller says they can also offer an upgraded interior for $3,000 extra.
