C8 Corvette Races Modded Camaro SS, the Struggle Is Real

While the C8 Corvette modding community is still waiting to solve the factory ECU puzzle, this hasn't kept plenty of developers from sending the Chevy to the gym and racing the hell out of it. Case in point with the adventure we have here, whose actual name should be: C8 with exhaust vs. the world.

That's right, ladies and gentlemen drivers, we're looking at a racing shenanigan that sees a Corvette Stingray duking it out with a plethora of go-fast machines.

Now, before we move further, we have to mention that the 6.2-liter V8 of this Chevrolet was gifted with a catback exhaust featuring high-flow catalytic converters. As such, the motor now delivers around 450 ponies at the rear wheels.

Now, the battle mentioned in the title above, which awaits you at the 6:01 point of the video below, with this involving a sixth-gen Camaro SS that had been pushed to almost 600 ponies at the rear wheels.

However, this was one of the... tamest opponents of the 'Vette. That's because the list involves a 1,300 rwhp 997.1-gen Porsche 911 GT3, an 800 rwhp 1969 Chevrolet Camaro with a twin-turbo LS heart, a 1,200 whp Lamborghini Huracan Performante with a twin-turbo kit from Underground Racing, the said Camaro, a Gen V Viper packing full bolt-ons that push it to 600 rwhp, a first-gen Ford GT with 600 hp at the wheels, a 997.1 Porsche 911 Turbo with 700 awhp, as well as a 2019 Ford Mustang GT using Hoosier racing slicks (smaller rear wheel conversion and all).

Note that the cars were listed in the order found in the video below and while the races featured rolling starts, as it usually happens during street battles, the Mustang fight was the exception - the driver of the pony wanted to test the grippy rubber setup, so a standing start was used.

Of course, once the said ECU game is complete and the C8 Chevrolet Corvette is ready to properly receive twin-turbo work, you should be prepared to see a whole different situation.

PS: Please keep in mind not to use such shenanigans as an example and head over to the track when the battle urges kick in.
