Finding a ‘62 Chevy Nova in good condition obviously isn’t something that easy these days, while the restored models very often cost more than anyone is willing to spend.
And yet, here’s someone selling an “all original” and “unmolested” 1962 Chevrolet Nova 400 on Craigslist, claiming that the “body appears to be in great shape.”

Needless to say, some rust can still be seen here and there, but overall, this Nova looks a lot better than anyone expected given it’s a barn find.

The car comes equipped with air conditioning, according to the seller, and it has an upgraded interior, without any specifics provided here. However, what we do know is that the Nova was still running before it ended up abandoned in a barn in Oklahoma, according to the ad.

The car was manufactured in KC and the original color was that nice bluish teal green. The original interior looks great and can possible be repaired if taken to the right place,” the seller says.

This Nova isn’t necessarily cheap, as it can be yours for $12,000, but if you’re looking for such a model to restore it, this is one of the best around at this point. There’s a good chance the engine also works just fine since it was running properly before being parked in the barn, but further information is something that the potential buyer needs to get from the seller.

Judging from the photos posted on Craigslist, and which you can also check out in the photo gallery here, the exterior is the one that will require extensive restoration, and this makes sense since the interior has already been upgraded.

No details have been offered on the mileage, but given it’s a 58-year-old car that has been used for over 41 years, we expected this to be a low mileage Nova that is at least worth a look.
