It's called the Motorhome, and while it doesn't actually have a motor incorporated into its construction, this expandable travel trailer is more than worthy of the title "Home on Wheels." So, sell the house, buy a big rig tractor, buckle up, and let's explore a different way to live.
By now, you should have realized that the world is a big place and full of grand adventures. The one and only Rioja Singular Vehicles, a crew based in Spain, helps people along their so-called on-road journey through life. Oh, and it's not just people like you and me who have been catered to by Rioja. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing is a client, and so are Porsche, MotoGP, Formula 1, Honda, and so many more.

Why so much attention on this team? Well, aside from the fact that they can trace their beginning to 1860, they actually craft an array of vehicles for a wide range of industries. However, I find the Motorhome more up my alley than the rest, mainly because I'm into the whole mobile living game.

Now, the Motorhome is the sort of habitat tailored to each particular client, and it's the main reason why we see an array of interiors and exteriors in the gallery. While that's not something out of the ordinary, what is unique is the fact that Rioja not only showcases a one-story and horizontally expanding habitat but a two-story one as well that starts off looking like your average reefer trailer. The latter even has its own balcony, three bedrooms, and a jacuzzi. Starting to get an idea of what we're up against here?

The way these babies explode into the massive estates we have before us is through your average slideout system. After all, you can't be hauling it down highways with a two—maybe even three-lane-wide trailer. But once you've arrived at your destination, things really take on a different story. Oh, and all this is bound to happen at the press of just a button with minimal attention from owners.

For the remainder of our time together, I want to invite you to sit back for a moment, pick your favorite set of images you see in the gallery, and then place yourself in the center of the action. Sure, some of these units belong to downright MotoGP racers, but you can easily pretend it belongs to you. Maybe once we're done here, you actually end up flying over to Spain to see one of these in person.

As for myself, I've chosen to simply point out some of the features we see on the floorplan that Rioja shows off to the guests. Once you've expanded your home away from home, the interior even puts my two-bedroom apartment to shame.

Not only can we see three bedrooms, but Rioja also showcases a large living room that's sure to include a modular couch. Did you happen to notice the presence of not one but two fully equipped bathrooms? The kitchen follows the same house-trained rules we're accustomed to and includes four-burner tops, residential fridges/freezers, and enough countertop space to disassemble a motor if you need to.

That last bit also brings me to yet another use that Rioja has in store for their Motorhome model, that of being used as something else entirely. I mean it; I can't tell you what that would be, as the possibilities are endless. But, as an example, Rioja itself uses a Motorhome model while traveling to and from events, one that's equipped to not only be a home but one that's also an office space where they can conduct business with ease. The same is true for anyone who pays for the Rioja touch; if you've got the bucks, Rioja has the know-how.

Still, of all the layouts and examples we see, it's that two-story pop-top variation that has me buzzing the most. Luckily for you, it's also featured on Rioja's YouTube page; I've added a video below to give you a clear example of what's in store.

As we enter, we find ourselves in a well-partitioned interior that separates the living room and kitchen from a bunk bedroom to one end and at the other end, yet another bunk bedroom. But, somewhere along the way, there's a door that hides access to the loft bedroom and living room above; I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Once upstairs, we can see that owners have it a bit differently than the rest of the family or crew members. A double bed is spotted, and so is a bathroom with a full-size bathtub and even a living room ready with a TV and a little gaming station. Honestly, it's not every day that you see something like this, so really explore what you see and remember; it could be you hanging out in that bathtub.
