Following the famous Toyota Tundra that towed the Endeavour space shuttle last year for around 12 miles, the lighter and less-powered Lexus GX 470 managed to haul a MIG-31 jetfighter in Russia this year.
The Lexus GX 470 weighs 4,871 lbs (2,209 kg) and it's powered by a 4.7-liter V8 making 235 hp and 434 Nm of torque. By comparison, the 2012 Tundra that towed the space shuttle tips the scale at 5,490 lbs (2,490 kg) and is motivated by a 5.7-liter V8 generating 381 hp and 544 Nm of torque.

Still, after two rounds of spinning its four wheels with no result, the luxury SUV managed to overcome the 24-ton jetfighter's innertiat and started to tow it around the airfield. Check it in the video bellow. Don't forget to turn the volume down because there's a lot of wind noise.
