It looks like Lamborghini's not through celebrating its 50th anniversary after unveiling the ludicrous Veneno supercar in Geneva.
While it's a lot slower than the Veneno, the latest Lamborghini is much cheaper and can be had with just $32,000 (EUR 25,000). Oh yeah, we forgot to tell you the most important thing: it has just two wheels and no engine. Yup, it's a bicycle.
Now we know what you're thinking. It's awfully expensive and you can't see why would someone go hiking on such a bike. We really can't answer that and we agree, for the most part, but you must keep in mind that this is no ordinary bike.
Ok, it's not crafted at the Sant'Agata Bolognese facility, but it's a Swiss-built carbon fiber BMC in just 50 units that uses the Lamborghini Aventador as inspiration. It's not the first BMC-Lamborghini bicycle, but the two companies say this is the most exclusive impec bicycle yet.
"Inspired by the success of the previous impec Lamborghini Edition, BMC Switzerland has created an even more exclusive impec bicycle. The Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Edition impec combines high-end Italian components with the Swiss- made impec frame to create a road cycling machine that includes the same precision, detail, and style used in the Lamborghini Aventador dream car," BMC said in a press release.
Each Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Edition impec will be built to order and delivered through the BMC and Lamborghini dealer network.
