The front bumper reflectors on the US F30 3 Series are not to everyone's liking, especially if your car is any other color than Orange. For this DIY a white F30 3 Series was used and you can see how much the reflectors stand out.
So, in order to install, change or remove those nasty front bumper reflectors you will need: a 8mm socket, a flat head screwdriver or plastic molding remover and new blank reflector or some paint to cover up the one on the car.
Step 1: Find and remove the twi 8mm screws along the front inner fender well (Photos no. 1 and 2).
Step 2: Once they're out pull the inner fender away from the bumper (Photo no. 3)
Step 3: Push the reflector with one hand and use the flat head screwdriver to pull it from the bumper from the inside. Be careful not to twist the screwdriver as it may cause damage to the bumper (photos no. 4, 5, and 6)
Step 4: After removing the reflector, clean the molding tape of it and the front bumper's inside (photos no 7 and 8)
Step 5: Insert the new blank reflector in the slot making sure the molding tape is oriented towards the exterior and apply pressure on all sides from the inside and outside to ensure a good seal (photos no. 9, 10 and 11)
Step 6: Put everything back together in reverse order and you're done!
