Superprestigio is most likely the last major event of the year, and the fact that it brings together riders from various racing series, including MotoGP is only making it more exciting. Dirt riding and flat-track are anyway on the usual list of training methods for Grand Prix riders, and some of these fellows are even very good at this.
The high level of competitiveness makes the Superprestigio fun and exciting to watch, because we're seeing riders that know very well what they are doing, so the fights are often fierce and thrilling.
Flat-track isn't exactly the biggest show in Europe, but as the races are streamed live, we just know that this event will draw a lot of audience from across the pond.

Alex Rins, Mika Kallio, Alex Marquez, Julian Simon, Lorenzo Baldassari, Mattia Pasini, Ricky Cardus, Xavier Simeon, Marcel Schrotter, and Xavi Vierge will race this weekend in Barcelona, with three more competitors arriving from Moto3, and one from the FIM CEV Superbike.
Three World Superbike riders are on the list as well, Nico Terol, Jordi Torres and Xavi Fores. Six of the above are new to the Superprestigio. Check out the Open Class entries on the DTX Barcelona website and prepare for the last big two-wheeled racing weekend of the year.

Only two MotoGP riders entered the Superprestigio class, two-time World Champion Marc Marquez and Toni Elias.
