Tesla Plays Santa Claus

As Santa is almost ready to fire up that supercharged big block powering his slay (don’t worry, the airborne vehicle is a hybrid as the aforementioned V8 works together with the raindeers), automakers from around the world are racing to offer you their view of the perfect gift. You can buy just about everything, from tooth picks to full-size cars.

However, there is one carmaker that has decided to use a different approach. We are talking about Tesla, an automaker that not only sells new-age vehicles, but also follows the classic principles of marketing in a fun way.

The performance EV maker deiced to offer Christmas presents to the Roadster customers, as we found out from Tesla Motors Club . The company is offering nothing less than... Tesla Roadsters.

Ok, at this point, you probably wish you’d bought one of Tesla electric creations, as two for the price of one seems like an out-of-this-world deal. But don’t grab your check book yet, as we are talking about radio controlled models.

Here’s a forum post from a customer that had just opened the Tesla package: “Just received a surprise package from Tesla. It contained a Tesla Roadster RC car! Radiant Red with tan seats. Batteries included! (Carbon Zinc, not Lithium Ion.) Also a nice xmas card with greetings from Elon [Musk].”

We can see it now: a grown-up man laughing like a child while performing drifting maneuvers with a RC Tesla Roadster in his living room. You can actually see this - in the video below (the cats seem to like it too).
