Besides full-size Model S EVs, Tesla Motors is also selling diecast models replicating their successful sedan.
For $210, you can have a 1:18 scale Tesla Model S diecast mini car, but if your mind and eyes are still on that price tag, allow us to explain it.

There's no doubt these are legit diecast models, commissioned by Tesla, but the trick is Elon Musk's company made sure every detail was meticulously overseen directly by the Tesla Design Team in California.

Moreover, Tesla is telling us "the same 3D CAD data used to manufacture the actual Model S was used to precisely replicate every detail, curve and surface found in the scale model."

You can have your miniature Tesla Model S in two versions: Midnight Silver Metallic with Grey Turbine wheels, with black interior/carbon fiber trim or Red Multi-Coat with Silver Turbine wheels, with tan interior/Obeche details.

Alright, now for the not-so-oily bits. Each miniature Model S is made up of around 270 metal and plastic parts. All doors, trunk and hood open, the car rests on rubber tires while the wheels can be turned by working the steering wheel just as in a standard car.

In terms of dimensions, the models are 275 mm long and 120 mm wide (10.82 inches x 4.72 inches) and weigh 1.25 kg (2.75 lbs).

However, there's some bad news in all this. At this moment, the cars are sold out, which means you'll have to wait until Tesla replenishes the stock, which we hope will happen soon. Otherwise, you'll hold it against us for teasing the cars although no one could buy them at the time of writing.
