Teenagers Stealing a Car at Gunpoint in Brazil Resembles a GTA Gaming Scene

Well, one good reason to use such a car would be the aim of having a safe vacation in Brazil. The country has been affected by robberies and other such issues for years now, with the situation having become more than serious.

The most recent example of this comes in the video below, which shows a couple that have been the victim of a carjacking in Brazil.

While people who live in areas such as Sao Paolo are familiar with such problems, those of you who haven't zoomed in on the phenomenon so far will probably be shocked by the age of the thieves.

We're dealing with teenagers here, are not the kind who are about to become adults. Despite these, the near-kids here who steal a car at gunpoint look aggressive enough to turn the situation into an even more severe one.

The teens descend from a car inside a gas station, with an employee walking away at the sight of the weapons. As if this were a scene coming from the Grand Theft Auto gaming series, they take over the couple's vehicle, subsequently driving away with both cars.

Last time we checked, gas pump hoses had a safety device that disconnected them from the pump's body in case somebody drove off with the nozzle in the car. This doesn't seem to be the case here, though, as the carjackers take down the pump that had been feeding the car they stole.

Many people who live or have visited Brazil offer an explanation that might sound banal and yet is obviously overlooked by some of the victims of these attacks. Given the young age of many thieves, paying attention and knowing how to react is enough to keep trouble at bay.
