Is 550 PS from a 3.8-liter not enough? If you’re into humiliating Lamborghinis in a straight line, it probably isn’t, but Switzer has the solution. It’s called the Switzer Ultimate Street Edition GT-R, and it’s not a car, it’s a bomb.
The 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 has been tuned to produce no less than 1,000 horsepower. To keep all that power in check, they’ve not only played with the engine, but with the gearbox as well.
After dropping the suspension and improving grip with new wheels and tires, the Ultimate GT-R is now capable of reaching 60 mph in the “two second range” and the car can easily bust the 200 mph (322 km/h).
The full package of the conversion is USD 88,990 over the price of a standard 2013 GT-R. It’s not cheap, but there’s probably no cheaper way to go that fast.
