Britain is one of the most important markets in Europe and while Suzuki doesn't have a lot of cars, it does have the perfect one for the UK. The Swift supermini has helped this Japanese automaker register a 33% sales increase last year. For the whole of 2013, 33,000 cars were sold there, making them one of the fastest growing brand in the country.
Another car that played a particularly important role is the Alto city car, smaller and cheaper than a Swift. Being priced from £6,000 has helped this car with its 13,600 units sold last year in Britain.

Suzuki says its good sales are expected to continue into the first quarter of 2014. A VAT-free offer running until March this year means that you can buy a Splash 1.0-litre SZ2 is available from £7,999 and Swift 1.2-litre SZ2 three door from £8,999. It also makes Suzuki the only car company to sell three models for under £9,000.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
