The 2010 Suzuki SX4 SportBack, the latest addition to the range after the SX4 Crossover, has just been released by the Japanese manufacturer. The new model was tuned to sport mode and now benefites from a lower ride height, performance shocks and standard anti-roll bars.
Just as expected, the car’s exterior was modified, having the roof-mounted rack removed, minor tweaks to both bumper and grille, and revised rear spoiler, chin spoiler and side skirts. The inside features were also improved, including power windows and locks, dual power rearview mirrors, tilt steering wheel, trip computer, split folding rear seats and rear passenger floor vents.
Taking a glimpse at the 2010 Suzuki SX4 SportBack’s interior trim, a new instrument cluster, aluminum-look accents, a four-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system with MP3 and XM Satellite Radio compatibility, a driver’s information center and armrest for the driver’s seat, were also fitted to the model.
Just as on the 2009 SX4 model, the standard integrated navigation system is also included in the SportBack. However, it has extra features that include airline arrival and departures, 3D graphics, lane guidance and Doppler weather maps.
The car has been equipped with a 2.0-liter engine that develops up to 150 horsepower at 6,200 rpm, and 140 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,500 rpm.
