Suzuki Is Ready for 2011 Geneva Auto Show

Suzuki is ready for the 81st edition of the Geneva Auto Show, with the company offering us the details of its display. Yesterday, we reported that the company will introduce the S-Concept at the event and it is now time to see what developments accompany it.

Before we get to the point we have to remind you that the S-Concept is based on the all-new Swift, which made its European market debut last autumn, with the company now promising to “create a stylish sport compact with premium performance.”

In addition to that, the company will also display the facelifted 2011 model year Splash (the vehicle you see in the adjacent image). This uses the beefier 94hp Dual VVT 1.2-liter engine, which was first used on the new Swift, The unit offers improved drivability and allows the driver to protect the environment, as it only emits 119 grams of CO2 per km, when coupled with the manual transmission.

The revamped Splash will be available with the new SZ equipment level and can also be ordered with a 1.0 liter engine. The list of upgrades also includes new interior seat trim and new alloy rims for the 1.2 liter SZ4 version.

The full list of Suzuki models on display at Geneva also includes the Swift, Alto, Kizashi, Jimny, Grand Vitara and SX4.

autoevolution will be attending the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
