Subaru Guernsey Dealership Opens Again

The island of Guernsey has opened the gates of one of its Subaru dealerships again, after it has been closed for 18 months. Le Mont Saint Garage is one of the most successful independent franchise dealerships located on the island, and has a 21 years of tradition in the field.

The dealership, which is in fact a family business, features a four-car showroom, two dedicated sales staff and a two-bay servicing workshop.

“The products are incredibly well-priced and specified and the build quality is also fantastic. I’ve been in the motor trade since I left school in the 1970s and Subarus have always been among the best-built cars on the market. The vehicles stand apart from the crowd and people are very, very loyal to the brand: if they’ve had one before, they’ll go for one again,”
said David Beausire, who owns the business.

To properly mark the reopening, the dealership has recently put up a static display featuring four Subaru models, namely two Imprezas, Forester and Legacy, at the Guernsey airport. The theme for the event was ‘Subaru has come home’ and according to Beausire some 8,000 passengers saw the cars on their way to and from the channel island. “We’re the first to people to do this,” he continued. “It’s a great place to showcase the products.”

“We’re delighted to welcome Le Mont Saint back into the Subaru fold. David has a huge amount of experience and his is one of the most successful independent franchise dealers on the island,” commented Managing Director of Subaru UK, Paul Tunnicliffe, in a statement for the press.
