Subaru is one of the most obvious go-to brands for thrilling all-terrain adventures, so it’s no wonder the company has teamed for years on end with lifestyle company POWDR. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that this snow-rich winter witnesses an extension of the partnership.
From now on, Subaru owners who visit POWDR mountain resorts might get treated to even more “unforgettable adventures,” while the new deal also sees Subaru Motorsports USA become the official partner of Woodward, an “experiential action sports company.”

A subsidiary of POWDR, the latter aims to attract customers with innovative programming and a large community of athletes, so it should fit right into Subaru Motorsports’ strategy to “inspire competition, drive progression, and help grow the next generation of action sports.”

As for the wide-ranging Subaru-POWDR partnership, for the 2020/2021 season, the two companies have prepared a few novelties, such as Subaru taking care of the Snowbird, Copper Mountain, and Mt. Bachelor’s avalanche rescue dog programs.

Better yet, social distancing rules will be easier to follow thanks to newly developed “Subie Shacks.” These bespoke outdoor chalets will offer snacks, pre-packaged menus, and even Subaru-branded prizes.

Subaru has been an exceptional partner to POWDR and, with our partnership extension now including Woodward, we are excited to develop more cool experiences for our guests and Subaru owners,” says Wade Martin, co-president at POWDR.

Over the past six years, the two companies have worked together to provide better experiences to Subaru owners who are also resort guests. For example, exclusive benefits include Subaru VIP parking, concierge and shuttle services, along with surprises and dedicated activities throughout each season.

One thing that’s going to be missing this year is the Subaru WinterFest, and it’s not for lack of snow. The company announcing the “annual, multi-mountain destination and experiential lifestyle tour offering one of a kind winter experiences” will return for the 2021/22 season.
