Numerous upgrades are available at various tuners for every generation of the BMW X5, including the facelifted version of the latest that premiered in the first quarter of this year alongside its X6 sibling that continues to target those who favor style over substance.
Regardless of whether you're into all kinds of different wheels, widebody kits, reupholstered interiors, or the occasional power boost, or maybe all of them, everything is available as long as you're willing to cough out the respective amount of money. And if extra oomph is the way you roll, then G-Power has got your back.

The stealthy X5 pictured above is from the pre-facelifted iteration and comes with a punchy V8. The twin-turbo 4.4-liter mill was massaged to produce 670 ps (661 hp/493 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. That's 140 ps (138 hp/103 kW) and 150 Nm (111 lb-ft) more than the stock M50i variant of the G05 BMW X5, which has likely dropped the 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) to under four seconds.

To anyone keeping track, that's way more than you'd get in the latest version of the BMW X5 M Competition, whose twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 kicks out 625 ps (617 hp/460 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. The range-topping variant brags about dealing with the sprint in 3.8 seconds, and G-Power's tuned copy of the X5 M50i is probably similarly fast, if not a bit quicker.

As for its successor, which is now known as the X5 M60i, it comes with 530 ps (523 hp/390 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque for a 0 to 100 kph (0 to 62 mph) in 4.2 seconds and a maximum speed of 210 kph (130 mph), which can be optionally lifted to 250 kph (155 mph). The 2024 X5 M60i starts at $89,300 in our market, and for the X5 M, you are looking at a minimum of $122,300.

For the extra oomph, which also includes the removed V-max limiter, a new exhaust system that improves the sound produced by the V8, and a few other bits and bobs, G-power is asking at least $13,615, according to its official website. Lesser power boosts are on the menu for the M50i version of the G05 BMW X5, and they can also make the 40i variant a bit punchier.

Besides the power boost, the one pictured above comes with a stylistic makeover that's on the discreet side. It features a few carbon add-ons, a new exhaust system complete with fresh tips, different wheels, and a matte black look. The floor mats with the tuner's name embossed on them appear to round off the makeover, which is on the rather discreet side. This is tuning done right in our book.
