The internet is filled with countless copies of the C8 generation Chevrolet Corvette, some cooler than others, and we still believe that less is more when it comes to making any ride stand out for all the right reasons.
Thus, let's warmly welcome an ultra-sexy C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, which proves that one does not need to give it all sorts of wacky body kits and oversized alloys to make it truly exceptional.

You didn't think the apron, side skirts, vent surrounds, ducktail spoiler, mean diffuser, quad exhaust tips, and other aggressive elements came from the aftermarket world, did you? Why, of course, they didn't, as everything was equipped to it during assembly at the Bowling Green factory in Kentucky, which is where all versions of the C8 Corvette have come to life since production started more than four years ago (how time flies!).

However, there is a novelty, yet it fits the design so neatly that it could fly under the radar. Can't tell what we're talking about? Well, it is the new wheelset. The five double-spoke alloys came straight from Anrky's portfolio, sporting a silver look, just like the rest of the blue-collar supercar's exterior, which also features a few black elements here and there.

The wheelmaker took to social media to reveal these images, stating at the same time that this might very well be one of the sexiest C8 Z06s of its kind. Normally, we'd agree to disagree with such a bold statement, but as we already told you, we dig the refreshed and ultra-clean look of this track-focused Corvette, which is showroom-worthy.

Now, while the exterior may be very restrained due to the silver finish, the interior is actually on the lively side of things. Here, the C8 Corvette Z06 in question has red leather upholstery that was wrapped around most touchable surfaces. We can see it on the dashboard, door cards, seats, and other elements. It also sports red stitching, a few black accents, and the usual amount of carbon fiber required from a mid-engined machine that was born to feast on apexes.

Before calling it a story and moving to the next one, we will remind you that pricing starts at $112,700 for this model, $7,800 more than the electrified E-Ray, and $44,400 more than the entry-level Stingray. The C8 Z06 uses a flat-plane crank 5.5-liter V8 motor that steams out 670 hp (680 ps/500 kW) at 8,400 rpm and 460 pound-foot (624 Nm) of torque at 6,300 rpm, needs just 2.6s to 60 mph (97 kph) with the optional Z07 Performance Package, and is a true dream machine.

The Z06 won't be the most track-focused version of the C8 generation Corvette for much longer, as the bowtie brand is prepping the new ZR1, which is expected this summer, presumably with 850 horsepower on tap.
