Right now, McLaren is keeping the world’s attention fixed to the MP4-12C and its success on the track. But they are secretly working on two projects that we know of, one being a brand new hypercar, a successor to the F1 and the other a shooting brake version of their supercar with more luggage space.
Our dedicated team of spy photographers have managed to capture something very exciting: a prototype for that F1 successor we mentioned. The shape of the car is covered in most places, as the British designers and engineers would rather keep this car a secret. But compared to the MP4-12C, it’s a rocketship, with exaggerated arches and a huge single exhaust the size of fighter jet’s afterburners.

The car uses an enlarged version of the chassis under McLaren’s supercar, but the proportions are much different. They’ve also kept the 3.8-liter engine block, though it’s now supposed to be a real killer with somewhere in the region of 900 hp in combination with a KERS hybrid system.

The car is know internally as the P12 right now, and when it does hit the market, it will do battle with the other hypercar royalty coming our way, most notably the new Enzo.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
