In less than 2 weeks, the 65th International Frankfurt Motor Show will open up, showing the BMW Infinite Driving Experience stand in Hall 11. The stage is almost ready for curious visitors to drive the new i3 and BMW Concept5 X5 eDrive models.
This year, in case you'll be there, you can drive the 2 cars and the 4 Series around a specially designed track at the BMW stand, made in the shape of the infinite symbol, a symbol for the changing times that shouldn't fiddle with the way our cars feel.
The concept of a stand where you can actually drive cars was first used by Audi in 2009 and was very well received, being taken up by various manufacturers along the way. The work on the BMW stand began in July and thanks to 350 workers, it's now almost ready and willing to welcome BMW fans from around the world. Stay close to our blog as on September 10 we'll cover everything BMW from the 2013 IAA.
