The 2013 IAA International Motor Show will definitely surprise you, especially if you're going to Hall 11, where the BMW stand is located. Next to a 300 meter long track that is shaped like the infinity symbol and a lot of other novelties, you'll also be able to spot MINI's stand, done in the characteristic NOT NORMAL way.
The MINI stand will actually be built like a city from both an architectural and content perspective, in which MINI vehicles can be experienced up close in a unique way. The models are organized according to themes in various districts of the city.
For example, the MINI John Cooper Works area is devoted to the topic of speed. Therefore, the visitors are invited to break the speed record on the MINI Speed Slide, a 15-metre-long slide for adults.
The whole ordeal is called 'MINI Curiocity' and will also feature MINI design models that drive in circles around a roundabout posted at the heart of the stand. Furthermore, the MINI Roadster and MINI Convertible float in the "Cloud" over the roofs of the city.
