This Is How BMW's Stand Will Look Like at Frankfurt

At the start of the year, most people expected BMW to launch a wide array of new cars at the Frankfurt Motor Show (or IAA International Motor Show as some like to call it). However, over the course of the year we saw a lot of those cars launched way before the event even started.

Last week, BMW launched an official statement and a couple of photos of how their stand will look like at the 2013 IAA International Motor Show and what new stuff we'll be able to see there.

First of all, the German company will continue the tradition started in 2009 with its active driving concept for shows. This year, the track you can drive on is 300 meters long and goes up and over the stand in a rather impressive fashion.

“The IAA is one of the most important motor shows worldwide, where we present our latest products on an emotional level. The dynamic presentation of our vehicles on the track is unique and clearly underlines BMW´s brand promise “Sheer driving pleasure," said Steven Althaus, head of Brand Management BMW and Marketing Services BMW Group.

"At this year’s IAA there will be a focus on the topic of electric mobility and the pure electric BMW i3 experience of our visitors. We are looking forward to creating enthusiasm for the BMW i3 and other BMW Group products,” he added.

Of course, this year's highlight will be the i3 that was just launched. The i3 will be drivable around the infinity-shaped track at the stand, alongside other cars that will be present at the event, before their official market launch.

The brand new 4 Series Coupe will also be present at this year's IAA alongside the new X5, LCI 5 Series and other BMW M Performance Automobiles.
