As MINI was upset with spy photographers catching up with their new model while on a photo shoot, we can't imagine how they'll react when they see these photos.
Courtesy of Carnewschina.com, we now get to see exactly how the interior of the 3rd generation of MINIs will look like. The biggest surprise is the complete removal of the center mounted speedometer.

Whilst we do like the fact that it was repositioned right in front of the driver, next to the rev counter, this little detail is what made MINI special. Now, its place has been taken by a more standardized multimedia controller, that we're guessing, will only show up on lower-specced models.

For those who will go all the way, we're guessing the dash incorporated navigation system will be available, looking almost as it does in the current generation. As expected, everything looks high-quality, alcantara leather being used in abundance.

The steering wheel looks roughly the same, whilst the air vents have been redesigned, alongside the seats that now feature a more British-like material on the sides (we actually like the way these things look like).

The new model will be launched in November, celebrating the 107th year since Sir Alec Issigonis was born, the man that designed the original Mini.
