It's been quite a while since we laid eyes on a beautifully contrasting bike such as Snow, one of Digital Directiv's creations.
Joe Tessitore is the man behind the Portland-based workshop and his vision was to mix the retro looks and feel of the '76 bike with modern technology, all in a clean build with plenty of attitude.
The old Honda CJ360T was torn down and rebuilt completely, bringing the performance and safety to factory specs and there's not part of it left untouched in the restoration process, with everything bought as original spares or refinished to look like new.
Now shod with mighty Pirelli Scorpion tires and with a reworked suspension, Snow can be ridden daily, albeit taking such a tidy lovely bike into the trail mud would meed a lot of care washing it afterwards to bring back its primeval looks.
Having worked with Jay of Lossa Engineering, Joe learned to build bike himself would like to ride, and Snow is a great example of his skills. However, being a guy who deals with electrical systems, one of the niftiest features of Snow remains unseen: the keyless ignition.
Joe uses a RFID key fob to bring the back to life, and as soon the swipes the chip in a specific place, the all-digital dash lights up and Snow is ready to ride and turn heads. Check the complete list of modifications on Bike EXIF.
