Welcome to another chapter of bike history, this time envisioned by the 2014 version of the Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic FLSTC. Dripping with classic styling yet loaded with present-day touring capabilities, this bike evokes the attire of the 70s machines.
The massive front end is adorned with a 7" (18cm) main headlight and dual auxiliary lights with turn signals underneath them, just the way it used to be. Chrome-rimmed fenders and multiple other shiny accents, such as the studs on the seat sides and saddlebags are a nifty match to the rich two-tone color options.
2014 brings a nifty 3D old-school tank medallion and retro-look tank-mounted console. However, the classic looks are backed by modern instrumentation including "invisible" lights, which remain all sober black until lighted and adding to the cool look of the bike. A gear indicator and RPM counter are also in the package, together with the HD smart security fob.
ABS brakes are standard, and the 2014 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic also comes with full-sized floorboards and rubber insulation. The two-up seat can be easily removed for solo rides, and the detachable which shield can also come off for meaner look during city rides.
